The best of Nepal
starts in Pokhara.

Lakeside sunrises, Annapurna treks, Mustang road trips, private vehicle hire. It all starts in Pokhara, and we take you past where the crowds stop.

The promise

The promise

Most people come to Pokhara and stop at the lake. We start there. Beyond the boats and the cafes is a country of high passes, quiet ridges, and villages that still run on their own time. We know the way, and we travel it slowly.

Follow the route

From the lake at 800m to the sanctuary at 4,130m

One road climbs from Pokhara to the high passes and back down to the jungle. Every itinerary sits somewhere along it, pick your stop.

800 mThe Valley

In the Valley

Pokhara itself, taken slowly. The lake at first light, the ridge above town, the quiet corners most visitors pass by on their way to somewhere else.

2,000–4,130 mThe Hills

Into the Hills

The classic Annapurna foothill treks. Rhododendron forest, stone-stepped villages, and mornings when the whole range turns gold before breakfast.

Up to 3,800 mBeyond

Beyond the Passes

Where the road keeps going north, into the rain shadow behind the Himalaya. The high desert of Mustang, the long valley to Manang, and the sacred temple at Muktinath.

150 mThe Terai

Down to the Lowlands

South off the mountains, into the warm Terai. The jungle of Chitwan National Park, and the gardens of Lumbini where the Buddha was born.

The way we travel

Why people come back to us

  • 01

    Local guides

Our guides grew up in these valleys. They know which village has the better tea, and which ridge is worth the extra hour.

  • 02

    Our own vehicles

We run and maintain our own tourist vehicles. No tired rentals, no surprises on the gorge roads to Mustang and Manang.

  • 03

    Small groups

Trips run small by design. You move at your own pace and the mountains stay quiet around you.

  • 04

    Off the standard trail

We use the routes that skip the queues. Same mountains, fewer people, more of the country in between.

  • 05

    Built around you

Every itinerary is a starting point. Tell us your days and your pace, and we shape the trip to fit.

Good to know

Questions, answered

When is the best time to visit Pokhara and trek?+

October to November and March to April are the clearest, most reliable windows. Mustang stays dry through the monsoon as it sits in the rain shadow, and the valley itself is good year round.

Do you arrange permits and transport?+

Yes. Trekking permits, restricted-area permits for Upper Mustang, and all transport in our own vehicles are handled for you. You just turn up.

Can you build a custom itinerary?+

Every trip is a starting point. Tell us your days and your pace and we will shape a route to fit, combining valley days, a trek, and a road trip if you like.

How do we pay, and is there a deposit?+

There is no deposit to start a conversation. Once a plan is agreed we take a modest deposit to confirm, with the balance on arrival. We will set this out clearly before you commit.

How big are the groups?+

Small by design, usually two to eight travellers. Private trips for couples, families, or solo travellers are easy to arrange.
